Q. What is this little house down by my clock?
A. The Parthenon in the system tray is the icon that shows you the status of the Odyssey Internet Accelerator

Q. Why does the icon glow off and on?
A. The parthenon icon will glow to show internet activity that is being accelerated

Q. My icon doesnt glow, Why not?
A. The icon will not glow when there is internet traffic that is NOT being accelerated, or when the Accelerator is not being allowed to accelerate internet traffic

Q. My icon doesnt glow, and pages seem to load at the same speed as before

Q. My icon doesnt glow and pages dont load at all! What is happening?
A. If the accelerator is being blocked by firewall software, no pages will load and you will not see traffic. You need to allow the Odyssey Internet Accelerator through your firewall.

Q. What is a firewall? Do I have one?
A. common firewall software includes ZoneAlarm firewall, BlackIce Defender, Windows XP built-in firewall

Q. I do have a firewall! How do I allow the accelerator through?
A. It depends on your firewall, ZoneAlarm will pop up a box the first time the accelerator attempts to load Click Allow and it should work fine. Windows XP SP1 built in firewall must be disabled due to lack of configuration options for the firewall. Microsoft has released a much more configureable Firewall with SP2.
