Outreach Ministry
The mission of God's People is to touch the world with compassion and caring. Our local missions include:
*Church food pantry
*sharing in Cortland County Food $en$e
*holiday gift boxes
*sponsoring regular Red Cross blood drives
*participating in nursing home and adult home ministry
*preparing and serving outreach meals in the Cortland-Homer area
*prayer chain for personal and local needs
Our world mission reaches from Albania to Zimbabwe through the programs and ministries of the United Methodist Church. Our work includes medical missions, college ministries, world hunger responce, disaster relief and support for families and children through Christian camping and family counseling services.
We also work together with the Cortland County Council of Churches, a broad community of religious community by organizing, cooking an serving simple meals on the sout side of Cortland.
