Bereavement Program
The pain of losing a loved one can be confusing, frightening and overwhelming. Although we know that grief is inevitable, the raw and unfamiliar tumult of emotions that we experience at this time may be very different from what we expect.
Caring Community Hospice of Cortland offers bereavement support for hospice families after the death of their loved one for one year. Bereavement services are tailored to individual needs.
You do not have to grieve alone. If you have lost a loved one, whether served by hospice or not, Caring Community Hospice of Cortland invites you to participate in our bereavement support group. Facilitated by a clinical social worker, the group is relaxed and informal and allows members the chance to join with others who are grieving in a common search for strength, meaning, hope and understanding during this difficult time. The group is free of charge and
is open to anyone.
For more information, please call Hospice at (607) 753-9105.
