This error comes up if almost all the settings
are wrong.

If every thing is been checked and they still
have a problem dialing in try turning on the Post Dial Terminal
Window in Dial Up Networking. Put the check mark in bring up
terminal window after dialing.
After hitting connect the Post Dial Session
Screen will appear.
If there is anything other than what is below there may be a
problem with the modem that they are calling into.
Type in the user name and hit enter.
Next enter the password and hit enter.
Your IP Address will Scroll onto the screen
Hit the F7 key or click on continue.
It should the go on to logging on to network.
